You will probably hear me say this about every stage of babyhood but I LOVE the stage where their personalities start to develop, they get a sense of humor (mom is always the most funny), and you can see the wheels turning when they see new things/people. You know, around four months old! Like this little guy that I had the pleasure of photographing last weekend.
He was a bit skeptical about the lady with the big black box in front of her face (that would be me), sticking hats on him and putting him in baskets.
He just stared right into my eyes (and into my lens luckily!) to try to figure me out.
But when he smiled, well, the room would just light up!
Great to meet you little guy. And your too mommy and daddy!

Sweet Newborn Twins | Eastlake, OH Newborn Photographer
I photographed my very first set of newborn twins recently. These sweet little boys were just 6 pounds each and absolutely adorable, separate and together!
They loved snuggling tight with each other.

Fall Family Photos | Willoughby Hills Family Photographer
This family photo shoot almost didn't happen. We scheduled several dates over the summer that had to be canceled so we decided on a nice fall shoot to both take advantage of the beautiful leaves and the less hectic schedule. This family is close friends with mine so I packed up my kids and picked up my friend and her children to meet our husbands over at Squire's Castle located in the North Chagrin Reservation across from Progressive Insurance where our husbands were leaving work to meet us. We started off 5 minutes late. Not bad right? We loaded up the car and headed to Squire's Castle. About 10 minutes into our journey my son said he didn't feel well and promptly threw up in the car. Nice. We keep going and find that the entrances into the reservation are closed due to repaving of the road. Really? We finally find an entrance and arrive with about 35 minutes of shooting time left before the sun goes down. Yikes! Not a lot of time to shoot a family of four. I think we still got some cute photos!

Celebrating an Anniversary | Wickliffe Family Photographer
Saturday I got to spend a few hours with a friend and her husband and their sweet little ones. They are such a nice family. Lisa and Bryan were celebrating their anniversday and Lisa had the wonderful idea to have family portraits done on the bridge where they had their wedding photos taken in Colby Park. So romantic! I wish I could post the wedding photo but believe me when I say that they haven't aged a bit.
I rode to the location of the shoot with them and the little girl asked if I could ride in the backseat on the way home. ♥♥♥ So adorable! Thank for letting me take your family portraits guys!

I wish I could say the same for my husband and myself as we have been married almost as long as them. It must be that they have such sweet, kind, and peaceful children (my kids don't have a calm bone in their bodies which accounts for the bags under my eyes and graying hair).
